Short Bio
I specialize in Pastel and oil portraiture. I have awards and have shown in a Gallery. I try to capture the Essence of my client that helps bring the portrait alive. I enjoy wildcat portraiture and was shown in the charity for the Cat Haven for the Wildcat 2001 showings. I lose myself in the portrait I am painting and feel like they are becoming alive as I paint. I have studied with many wonderful artists in workshops and while attending the Scottsdale Artist’s School.
Statement
My goal in portrait painting is to find that certain uniqueness in my subject and build around that to bring life to my painting. I work to capture the essence of their personality.
